Introduction:
The die-cuts are manufactured in accordance with the EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 13485 standards. Comply with the requirements of the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC. SteriShape die-cuts are intended to be used for applying re-usable drapes to the patient’s skin in order to create a sterile and hygienic operating environment, especially designed for covering systems for specialized surgery(e.g. eye or cardiac surgery). It is convenient for the fixation of the surgical drapes in the incision part of the patient.
Characteristics:
1.During surgery, the tape is unaffected by body fluids and other fluids used during surgery
2. The adhesive is 100% wash-soluble
3.The bonding strength of the employed adhesives is not adversely affected by sterilization and the tape reaches its ultimate
4.The die-cuts are biocompatible
Application:
SteriShape die-cuts are applied to the re-usable drape, after which it is steam sterilized and ready for use. After use, the drape is processed in the laundry, during which the tape is removed from the textile. After this process a new die-cut can be applied to the drape.
